Peer Career Groups. On March 16th, 2016, we launched the Peer Career Mentoring Program with the goals of (1) building a supportive community for career exploration and (2) increasing awareness of the diverse career opportunities available to graduate students and postdocs. Through regular peer-lead meetings, members discussed the relevant skills required for success in specific career sectors and identified resources and networking activities. We are currently evaluating the outcomes of this pilot program and will inform our members of future peer-mentoring activities.
