Graduate and postdoctoral training anxiety and stress are often the punchline of many jokes. These acute levels of stress are to be expected during this academically rigorous training. But with recent statistics revealing an alarming rise of clinical depression and suicide among these trainees, it is apparent that change is needed.The goal of this podcast is to introduce and discuss health related topics to promote well-being among graduate students and postdoc fellows in an effort to raise awareness of health services and encourage daily integration of health and wellness.
